Portrait of Bill Wyman

Recent News - March 2006

A STONE ALONE

Had a brief meeting with ex Stone Bill Wyman this morning. He was promoting his new album "A Stone Alone" which is an anthology of his music.

I handed Bill a print of a painting I had previously painted which he had annotated with "They'll think I'm your dad and you're my daughter".

He signed a new canvas for me and entitled it "Je suis un Rock star".

Bill is one of the nicest guys in rock and considering his music background, he could teach the youngsters a thing or two in humility.

David Essex

Bumped into David Essex who explained he was off to record a new album. He managed to scrawl a nice "Oh what a circus" onto a portrait of him when he was considerably younger, which he pointed out although I tried to soften the blow by telling him he hasn't changed that much.....I'll leave that one for you to decide hmmmm....

Other news this month

Those naughty Sugababes were out and about promoting their new single Red Dress. After Mutya's departure, the lovely Amelle has replaced her vocals and I have to say her lovely looks too. The Babes are all absolute crackers. Heidi was so friendly and chatted for ages and ages(alright Heidi get in the car now) As did Amelle. The only originalmember left, Keisha just popped her head out of the car window to grace us with her presence but she still looked stunning and was v. friendly.

Craig David just had time to scrawl on a canvas for me as well. Looking very healthy I didn't mention anything about Avid Merrion as I didn't fancy a punch in the mouth...

Had a chat with Westlife last week. Shane and the boys signed a new canvas and entitled it "You raised me up". All looked in fine fettle and were generally happy even amidst a scrum of young ladies who wanted an autograph and probably more.

AAH the Osmond brothers, Wouldn't they make the BEST next door neighbours, so happy and smiling all the time, you'd get a super tan from that tooth-glare. Jimmy, Merril, Wayne and Jay all happily contributed to a canvas which I am now looking to finish, can't find a decent picture of them in their white jumpsuits anywhere. Oh how I wish I'd kept my Osmond collection from 1975. Anyway time to Mormon, sorry move on.
